Horizon High School was established by Mr. Loku Abiya Awule and officially opened its doors in February 2020 as a mixed day ordinary level school. 

We take great pride in being the sole educational institution in Bweyale that places a strong emphasis on community involvement. We firmly believe that education is a basic human right that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

Our school stands out for its deep-rooted connections within the community, particularly our unwavering commitment to supporting disadvantaged Ugandan students and refugees in Kiryandongo, all while upholding the highest academic standards.

Our primary goal is to deliver exceptional education to all students, including those who may be facing financial difficulties. To this end, we provide bursaries to those in need.

The school is overseen by a board of directors comprised of experienced educators and a proficient board of governors. Additionally, students actively engage in the school's administration through a democratically elected prefects body and student council.

We take great pride in nurturing and showcasing the talents of our students, and we warmly welcome those with special talents to join our school community.

Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to introduce a boarding section and offer Uganda Advanced Level of Education by 2026.

Conveniently located in Bweyale Town Council, Kiryandongo District, Horizon High School is situated off Maga-maga road in the Southern ward of Bweyale Town.
